Ringname: Alexa Bliss
Born: August 9, 1991
From: Columbus, OH
NXT Debut: September 2013

Mini Biography: It almost doesn’t seem possible that so much bad attitude can fit into Alexa Bliss’ 5-foot-1 frame. Sly, sassy and sporting a whole lot of ferocity, Alexa has been a fierce competitor her entire life, participating in softball, track and kickboxing since her youth, excelling especially in gymnastics and eventually becoming a Division I cheerleader. Alexa even entered the world of competitive bodybuilding, where she became one of the youngest competitors to receive her IFBB Professional status.

With such an incredible athletic background, it’s little wonder that Alexa quickly became one of NXT’s most dangerous female Superstars. Though she never captured the NXT Women’s Title, she was a constant threat in the division, pushing the likes of Bayley and Carmella to their limits… Read More

Kurt Angle is in the ring and he has a table behind him with the Raw Women’s Championship and the Money in the Bank Briefcase. Kurt mentions that Raw had the winners of both Money in the Bank ladder matches. He brings out the woman who won the ladder match and then cashed in, the new Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. Kurt says Alexa demanded this presentation and Kurt gives Alexa the title belt.Kurt says that while Nia Jax is doing physical therapy, she is asking for her rematch at Extreme Rules.

Alexa asks if Kurt is going to move on to next month without talking about last night. She wants to say Thank You to everyone. She thanks them for the opportunity, the opportunity to rub it in all of your faces.

The crowd chants for Ronda and Alexa says that she showed what it was like to take care of a bully like Nia Jax and someone who acts like a bully in Ronda Rousey. Alexa says she shocked the world and cashed in. It is all about her. Alexa says she is the only woman who matters and she is a three time Raw Women’s Champion. Ronda Rousey’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring with a purpose. Kurt has to hold Ronda back from Alexa.

Alexa tells Ronda to calm down while Kurt and Ronda discuss something. Alexa says she thought Ronda would be doing physical therapy too. She asks Ronda if she came out to show the welts from the briefcase from last night. Are you looking for a lesson to know the difference between WWE and UFC. What she did last night was 100% perfectly legal. It is not all bad. Ronda, you looked like you were seconds away from making Nia tap. It was fingertips away. You could taste the gold, but we will never know.

Alexa says we know why Ronda is out here. She is angry that the headlines were not about you. They did interviews and stories about her. Alexa says she is the women’s champion and Ronda is irrelevant. If you ever want a title match, you have to go to the back of the line. Alexa calls Ronda and overhyped rookie.

Ronda with a take down and she punches Alexa. Kurt pulls Ronda off Alexa and Ronda with a judo toss. Ronda takes the briefcase from Alexa and hits her in the back. Ronda hits Kurt with the briefcase. Referees come to the ring to hold their arms out and suggest that Ronda leave the ring. Ronda attacks the referees. Ronda with a gutwrench power bomb through the table.

Ronda yells at Kurt in the back and she says she is tired of people telling her that UFC and WWE are different. Kurt says that he has to suspend Ronda for 30 days. Ronda storms off as we go to commercial.

We are back with a moments ago moment of Ronda Rousey attacking Alexa Bliss, Kurt Angle, and referees.

Mickie James confronted Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss

Does Alexa Bliss deserve more respect than she gets? By any measure, the self-dubbed “Goddess” of WWE has been a successful Raw Women’s Champion. Dominant, even. And with SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya lying in wait at WWE Survivor Series, Alexa has the opportunity to claim cross-brand supremacy.

But Bliss found herself uncharacteristically riled up by the audience’s refusal to tell her “You deserve it,” as the WWE Universe instead poured out their adulation for Mickie James after her heartfelt effort against Bliss in their WWE TLC title bout. When the audience still refrained from giving Bliss her props, the six-time Women’s Champion James arrived to plant Bliss with a pitch-perfect DDT — the only thing, Mickie said, Alexa truly deserved.

Mickie James & Bayley def. Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss & Emma

This Sunday, Alexa Bliss will defend her Raw Women’s Title against Mickie James, while Emma holds the prestigious if unenviable task of facing Asuka in her Team Red debut. If what happened on Raw is any indication, both women have a long week of soul-searching ahead of them, as they fell to the team of Bayley & James in a fast-paced tag team contest.

Not only did Mickie look every bit ready to claim her seventh Women’s Championship, Bayley didn’t look far away from title contention herself, holding off Emma and Bliss singlehandedly before tagging James into the fray. A devastating Mick Kick to Alexa minutes later both spelled the end of the contest and sent the champ and her teammate back to the drawing board with only six days to figure it out.

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss presented a Mickie James retrospective

Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James has become one of the most personal rivalries on Raw, thanks in no small part to Little Miss Bliss attempting to cast the veteran James as an over-the-hill Superstar. And when the six-time Women’s Champion took Bliss to task for refusing to talk trash in person, Bliss responded by making her way onto the stage presenting Mickie with a career retrospective … in the form of an old-timey newsreel called “Superstars of Yesteryear.”

Mickie took the insults in stride and again challenged Alexa to fight then and there. Little Miss Bliss, who had ventured down to ringside, made it seem like she would take Mickie up on that challenge before turning back up the ramp, but Mickie pulled her by the hair into the ring and fired off a Mick Kick that just missed its mark and sent Alexa scurrying. That highlight reel might need a bit of an addition.

With Mickie James circling Alexa Bliss, it appears the Raw Women’s Champion and Nia Jax’s on-again-off-again partnership is on, again. Though, if what happened during Jax’s bout with Mickie (a match seemingly finagled by Alexa after a backstage prank put James in the path of Little Miss Bliss’ occasional enforcer) is any indication, even that might not be enough to hold James back in the long run.

Not only did Mickie refuse to give in despite a powerful display from Jax, the six-time Women’s Champion James pulled off a miracle reversal to hit a tornado DDT off the ropes. The move seemed like such a surefire match-ender that Bliss broke up the ensuing pinfall attempt, handing James a disqualification victory. A post-match Mick Kick to Little Miss Bliss left Alexa humiliated for the second straight week, but her combined effort against both Superstars was enough to land Mickie what she was looking for since the beginning: A Raw Women’s Title Match at WWE TLC.

Alexa Bliss fended off four Superstars to retain her Raw Women’s Title at WWE No Mercy, so it was surprising that her Raw Talk interview seemed to focus more on a Superstar who wasn’t in the match: Mickie James. So, the six-time Women’s Champion had plenty on her mind when she interrupted Alexa’s extended scolding of the WWE Universe for focusing their attention what’s in the future (Asuka, for instance) instead of her, their present champion.

Little Miss Bliss wasn’t about to give James the respect she demanded, instead tossing out a volley of thinly-veiled barbs about James’ veteran status. Which was all good as far as Mickie was concerned; she just wanted Alexa to repeat her Raw Talk insults to her face. When she did, Mickie responded with two slaps to the face and a kick that sent the “Goddess” tumbling out of the ring — and, maybe, off her pedestal.
