Huge matches announced for Sunday’s WWE Starrcade this Sun...

The tradition of Starrcade carries into WWE Network for the third year in a row, streaming live this Sunday beginning at 7 ET / 4 PT.

The following matches have been announced for this monumental special event:

WWE Women鈥檚 Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match
The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Raw Women鈥檚 Champion Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair vs. SmackDown Women鈥檚 Champion Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross

Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (2-on-1 Handicap Match...

Thanks to her friend Nikki Cross, Alexa Bliss gets another opportunity to challenge SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley at WWE Extreme Rules, and this one comes with a catch: Cross will join the title fight on the side of The Goddess to make it a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.

Flanked by her new bestie Cross, Bliss fell short against Bayley at WWE Stomping Grounds, but the contest鈥檚 conclusion assured that the issue wasn鈥檛 settled for good. Although Five Feet of Fury injured the titleholder鈥檚 limb mid-match, the heroic Bayley roared back and dove at her opponent through the ropes. At the last second, however, Alexa sacrificed Cross so that her cohort received the brunt of the incoming assault.

Rather than get mad at The Goddess, however, the enraged Cross stormed into the ring to confront Bayley, but she cost Bliss valuable time when she began arguing with the referee. Amidst the turmoil, The Hugger avoided Twisted Bliss and dropped the challenger with the Bayley-to-Belly Suplex for the three-count.

Cross was determined to make it up to her friend, and she informed Bliss that The Goddess would get another title opportunity if Nikki could defeat Bayley on SmackDown LIVE. Though Bliss seemed a little skittish about the situation as she headed to WWE’s tour of Singapore and Japan, Cross pinned Bayley to earn her bestie a chance at championship glory.

After barely besting Bayley鈥檚 time in a Beat the Clock Challenge while competing on Bliss鈥 behalf for the right to pick the stipulation in the pay-per-view matchup, Cross announced that she would join the contest to make it a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.

Tune in to WWE Extreme Rules, Sunday, July 14, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network.

Trish Stratus returns to action to face Alexa Bliss at WWE Evolu...

As if WWE Evolution, the groundbreaking all-women鈥檚 pay-per-view, wasn鈥檛 already historic enough, Raw Women鈥檚 Champion Alexa Bliss will face seven-time Women鈥檚 Champion Trish Stratus in what is sure to be a match for the ages.

The Goddess, who is set to defend her Raw Women鈥檚 Championship against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam, will battle the WWE Hall of Famer for the first time at the pay-per-view event set for Sunday, Oct. 28, at 7 ET/4 PT. Not only will this be Bliss and Stratus鈥 first match against each other, but it will also mark Stratus鈥 first match since competing in the first-ever Women鈥檚 Royal Rumble Match earlier this year.

WWE Evolution will stream live on WWE Network, featuring women鈥檚 championship matches from Raw, SmackDown LIVE, NXT and NXT UK, as well as the final of the second annual Mae Young Classic 2018.

Historic Smackdown Women’s Championship Match Announced

Amid continued interference by a mysterious La Luchadora (and, at times, Las Luchadoras, plural) during recent matches involving SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch, The Irish Lass Kicker made the current titleholder tap out. As a result, SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan has announced that Bliss will defend the SmackDown Women鈥檚 Title against Lynch next week, and to avoid any outside interference, it will take place within the confines of a Steel Cage!

History will truly be made as a Women鈥檚 Championship has never before been decided in a Steel Cage Match on Team Blue. Will Bliss be able to withstand the straight fire of Lynch with nowhere to run? Or will WWE鈥檚 Wicked Witch fend off her No. 1 contender yet again?

Find out next week on SmackDown LIVE, next Tuesday at 8/7 C on USA Network!
